The definition of paranormal is anything outside of normal or usual. There has been a debate about the role of the paranormal in religion. Many Christian religions frown upon any connection with the paranormal, comparing it to Satan worshipping or the occult. In my opinion, the Bible is full of paranormal experiences. Jesus's birth was in and of itself paranormal. It's not normal for a virgin to become impregnanted with the Son of God. His resurection (the very basis of Christianity) is paranormal. It is not usual for someone to arise from the dead and roll away the rock, or to ascend into Heaven. If something was bad or evil about the paranormal, why are Catholic Priests trained in exorcisms?
