Jodi Breckenridge is the force behind what put Jefferson Texas on the map as one of the worlds most haunted locations.

She is a historian, storyteller and also know as the "Queen of Spook'. She owns and operates the historic Jefferson Ghost Walk Tour.

For 17 years she has crafted her love of history and ghost stories into a thriving business that spurred the naming of Jefferson as one of top 10 spookiest destinations in the U.S. by Trip advisor.

Jodi has worked for decades to make the history of her town come alive for visitors and residents alike. She also created a bi-annual paranormal conference held every spring and fall known as History Haunts and Legends event. Jodi has been featured on several national T.V. shows on A&E, Syfy and Biography channel, NPR radio and several local stations. Jodi was awarded the Marcia Thomas award for her contribution to the arts and tourism in Jefferson in October, 2015 by Marion County Historical Commission. She also wrote and directed"Murder on The Bayou" murder mystery weekends for one of Jefferson's haunted hotels, which she turned into a bi-annual event. She resides in Jefferson with her family, where she still continues to chase ghosts.
