Greg Stephens, Founding Member/Team Leader/Lead Investigator

Greg retired as a First Sergeant from the U.S. Army in February 2014 after 26 years of service. His interest in and experience with the paranormal began as a child growing up in Mineral Well, Texas when he would see and chase American Indian spirits along the river. Greg has a deep love and respect for the U.S. Armed Forces and history - especially the Civil War and all things military. He officially began investigating in 2007 with another team when he met James Leslie. Together they formed RIP in 2008.

Brandon Lee began his paranormal journey when he was 13 years old after hearing stories from his father, Greg Stephens, about chasing the spirits of Indians up and down the Brazos River. He was so intrigued and fascinated, he wanted to see if this phenomenon was real. After his father joined a team in North Texas in 2007, Brandon would finally join an investigation in Waxahachie, TX. Since that night, he was hooked on the paranormal world. Half a year later, a now 14-year-old Brandon was able to help build and establish Research and Investigation of the Paranormal (RIP) in 2008.

Brandon Lee experienced firsthand the second stage of possession after an encounter at one of his first investigations. After years of laying dormant in his childhood home, the spirit eventually revealed themselves to his family before trying to take over Brandon himself. After months of personality changes and the attempt on Brandon’s soul, he was able to break free with prayer and the help of his father and mother. Ever since that experience, Brandon has vowed to help others who seek the paranormal to protect themselves against the dangers of getting into this field.

Brandon joined the Army in 2012 to be of service to the country and ETS'd after 3 years of service in November 2015. Since then, he has continued to be a part of RIP, exploring all that they can of Texas and its surrounding states.

Welcome to the world of a alien encounter and a man who lived to write about it , this is Terry Lovelace. He was an EMT and medic in the Air Force, earned a law degree from the University of Michigan, worked as both a defense attorney and in the offices of the attorney general -- oh, and he's been married to the same woman for 46 years and raised a reportedly happy and functional family.

Lovelace says he never intended to tell the rest of his story -- or to write a book about it -- until he took up jogging in 2012. Although he'd always suffered from nightmares and hated being in wide-open, exposed places, it was then he noticed something about his body he couldn't explain. Every time he'd hit the 2-mile mark, a place just above his knee would go numb. Finally, medical tests revealed an unexplained piece of metal the size of a fingernail implanted in his leg.
