There are right and wrong ways for pursing greatness. Don't believe it? Just ask Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens. 

Two of the greatest baseball players of their generation and arguably two of the best of all time. They pursued greatness the wrong way. Besides being snubbed for the Hall of Fame, what else do Bonds and Clemens have in common? They used steroids and that casts a shadow over their accomplishments and kept them from entering the MLB Hall of Fame.

Jesus invites us to raise our sights...higher. Jesus WANTS us to be great; he just wants us to go about it the right way. We have a higher calling. Our message series begins with these questions as we continue to look at the Gospel of Mark.
