Let us now turn our attention to what ‘predestination planned by God’ is. In order to understand precisely what predestination is, we must regard the written Word as God’s Word, and correct ourselves if there is anything wrong in our faiths. For this, we must first understand why God loved Jacob while He hated Esau. We also need to find out whether or not the contemporary Christian understanding of predestination deviates from the Scripture. We must all have an accurate understanding of the predestination established by God.

Are there people who, while pursuing their own righteousness, believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit? The Scripture says that such people, by not believing in the righteousness of God and instead pursuing their own righteousness, are those who turn against God. What will these people do?
Did God plan to give all of humanity His salvation, which is the righteousness of God, and send Jesus Christ through the Israelites? Of course He did! Jesus so dearly wanted to save every sinner from his/her sins that He came to this earth, was baptized by John the Baptist, crucified on the Cross, and was resurrected from death. He came, in other words, to save all those who believe in Him.

How should we understand and believe in these passages to receive salvation? From the very beginning, there were neither the righteous nor those who sought God, but all were sinners. Their throats were open tombs; their tongues were like the venom of a poisonous snake, deceitful and full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet were quick to draw blood. They knew not the way of peace or the fear of God before their eyes and only walked in the path to their own destructions and misery. Everyone was a sinner before knowing and believing in the righteousness of God, and the way they found out that they were sinners before God was by the law.

Romans 11:1 says, “I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.” God did not, in other words, abandon the Israelites, for Paul himself was also an Israelite.
God says in Romans 11:2-5, “God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, “LORD, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”
As God told us that there would be many Israelites coming back to Him by believing in Jesus, many Jews will be saved from their sins. We must believe that when the end of time comes, a great number of Gentiles will be redeemed of their sins by believing in the righteousness of God and coming to Jesus Christ.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).
What is this “reasonable service,” which is translated as a “spiritual act of worship” in the New International Version (NIV), that we must give to God? Giving reasonable service to God means to offer our bodies to Him to do His righteous work. Since we are saved, we need to present our bodies and be acceptable to God for the spreading of the righteous gospel. The reasonable service that we must give God is to set our bodies apart in holiness to give them to Him.

Romans 13:1 states, “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”
We must live within the boundaries of social norms. God commanded us to fear and respect those who have authority in both our spiritual and carnal lives. God gives authority to the government officials for a reason, and we, therefore, must not ignore them. We must remember Paul’s saying, “Owe no one anything except to love one another” (Romans 13:8).

Romans 14:1 states, “Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.”
Paul warned the saints in Rome not to judge or criticize each other’s faith. At that time, since there were both those who were very faithful and those not so faithful in the church in Rome, they came to criticize each other’s faith. If this happens to you, you must respect each other’s faith and do away with any critical stances against God’s servants. It is up to God, not us, to raise and build His servants.

“We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification” (Romans 15:1-2).

Paul the Apostle told the saints in Rome and us too, to greet one another in his epilogue. Whom can we greet whole-heartedly in the Lord even in this age? We can joyfully greet the ministers and believers who are preaching the Word of God all over this world. We can have fellowship with those who are saved by reading the books of the gospel of the water and the Spirit. We, too, have the churches, the believers, and the servants of God whom we can greet in Christ.
