There are 3 major thieves of joy we experience and are found in the first Christmas: anxiety, resentment, and confusion. We are given the dignity to make choices that counter those thieves as we follow Jesus. Like Mary, we choose to trust God and his plan and purpose for our lives. Like Joseph, we offer grace, forgive, and let go of past hurts. Like the wise men, we follow the light of God one step at a time.
