As we continue in the Advent season, we study the interaction between Mary and Gabriel, and Mary's response to what God has for her. Her surrender of a dream leads to a life most blessed (not easy).
Luke 2:26-38

In this season of Advent, we embark on a profound journey of learning to trust and surrender, exploring the stories of key figures in the birth of Jesus. Through these narratives, we will uncover the beauty of surrendering to God's divine plan. This week, we examine the genealogy of Jesus, and see how God transforms family narratives and generational curses.
Matthew 1:2-17
LaShaude James
This past Sunday we gathered with the whole family and reflected on the truth that we can trust in the story God has written and can respond in gratitude.
There is an update from the Rim Vision Leadership Team following the message.

The incarnation and life of Jesus inform how we should value mental health. Every miracle Jesus performed involved mental health, leading us to the question: How do we as the church show the beauty of Jesus in the world of mental health?

John 1:1-14
God wants to be known - not as an object to analyze but as a person to apprehend. God is going to great lengths to make eye contact with us. Of them all, Jesus is the key to seeing & knowing God. The Bible is one Epic, unified story that points to Jesus.

John 6:26-35, 41-59
What is God really like? We wonder to ourselves, “Is he disappointed in me? He seems silent, did I upset him? How do I know what is true?” We all wrestle with these types of questions. We often project our growing-up experiences to decide what God is like. The Good news is that the Bible says we can know God. In fact, God wants you to know him. Because really, you cannot trust God if you do not know God.
