Darrin Gray builds Christian spiritual movements through the influence of sports. He serves on Athletes in Action’s Executive Council and leads AIA’s NFL Advisory Council to that stewards Christian influence across the NFL that includes NFL Team Chaplaincy, NFL Media, Super Bowl Breakfast and Bart Starr Award.
He has served as the Chaplain for a High School Football Team in Indianapolis for 13 consecutive years. He is also a frequent Chapel Speaker for College and Pro Teams. Darrin has a unique window into the NFL by virtue of his 17 year relationship with All Pro Dad, the national fatherhood program founded by Tony Dungy. Darrin has conducted programs with NFL athletes, coaches and alumni with most NFL franchises, Super Bowl, Pro Football Hall of Fame and many other notable events.

Darrin co-authored The Jersey Effect, Beyond the World Championship with NFL veteran, Hunter Smith, about Tony Dungy’s Super Bowl XLI team. The Jersey Effect looks deep into the hearts and minds of athletes who achieved Super Bowl success and examines the battles they faced. It presents the stories of champions who desired to reflect glory back to God by using their “jersey” and the platform God had given them to make a positive difference in the world.
Darrin has a B.A. Degree in Theology from Hanover College. He recently celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with childhood sweetheart, Leslie. Together they parent Evan, Shelby, and Zachary, and their God-Son Prince.
