He would make funny faces to people, act in the mirror, talk about it, obsess about it, fall down, get up and try again, and 2 weeks before the day that cheque was supposed to be cashed, he got a deal for Ace Ventura for $10 million.
Rock says doing the lessons with passion and purpose is the key, not just reading something in a book. You must absorb it. You must obsess with it. It’s about you committing on your own personal standards, and defying the odds, and creating the life you want, and dictating it to yourself.
Saying no to what doesn’t serve you is equally important to saying yes to what does.
