SCRIPTURE: Matthew 28:1-10

MAIN IDEA: So, this text is intended to teach us that:

“The risen King is trustworthy, for He never fails to keep His promises.”

This is, in fact, Matthew’s argument throughout his Gospel: 

It is through His resurrection that His true identity is revealed. 

“Jesus is the promised Messiah and the risen King, but we need divine help to truly recognize Him.”
