The River - Durant, OK

12/10/17 The Apostle Paul tells us that we have liberty in Christ, but what does that actually mean? Dr John explains, not only what this liberty or freedom means to us but, where it comes from, how we get it, how important it is for us to understand it, and how to stand in it.

12/17/17 The teaching of God's Grace is of utmost importance to the Christian culture, and far too often it is barely even mentioned in our churches. The teachers at The River Church strongly believe in God's Grace toward us, and understand how important it is for us to truly know and understand this Grace. Today's message reinforces this, but also explains just how important it is for the churches to teach all believers about the Grace of God.

1/28/18 Kicking off the new year with an important message about keeping your mind, spirit, and body focused on God's calling on your life.

2/4/18 In this series, Dr John helps us in renewing our minds, by showing us what God's Word truly says about certain ideas that men have preached over the years as truth, but in reality, much of it has been fabricated, and is not truth at all. Many of us have been taught these untruths most of our lives. Finally, God's truth versus man's teachings explained.

2/11/18 Continuing with this series, Dr John will amaze you with what God "actually" says about some things that you may have accepted as truth your entire life.

2/18/18 Dr John continues on with this series, exposing false and condemning teachings that many of us have been under most of our lives. God's Word, when understood correctly, frees us from condemnation, and covers us with the saving grace of our Lord, Jesus, of Nazareth.

2/25/18 Bet you didn't know this, but there are 10 things God tells us not to be ignorant of. Part one of this series covers the first 6 of the 10. Don't be ignorant anymore, get smart with God's Word.

3/4/18 Please excuse the poor recording quality of the first 2 1/2 minutes of this message. We experienced some technical difficulties. Past this portion of the recording, Dr John continues to enlighten us with 10 important things we are not to be ignorant of.

3/11/18 God has certain names that everyone knows Him by, but He also has names that only His people know. Within these names He also gives us promises and has made covenants with us. Just by knowing these covenant names, we can rest assured that our Father in Heaven will keep His promises.

3/14/18 Pastor Curtis Coker explains the difference between your "heart" and your spirit, and what an important role our heart plays in our relationship with God.
