She wrote I want to watch Netflix the whole day and do laundry that’s why I need leave.

And guess what? She got approval.

When her boss asked for this, Her boss replied, why don’t we normalize approving leaves that are not for emergency situations.

Understand this, mental health is equally important in comparison with physical health. Honesty is also important as that employee gave an honest reason that she wanted to watch Netflix and do laundry then there is nothing wrong. It’s her leave, she will decide what she wants to do.

So, if you want people not to lie to you, be an approachable person to whom people can come without fear.
