  • Lisa Papenbrock: Adapting Your Nervous System to Stress

On this week's podcast Vicky & Nadia interview Lisa about her experience as a chiropractor.  She has always wanted to help others in their healing- this was primarily physical healing until 3 years ago when a much deeper shift into her own intentional healing began. Her first hand experience then overflowed into all aspects of her life including work. Always a bit unconventional, as she shared more and was more vulnerable, it was very often reciprocated, and more stress release during treatment meant more healing.

  • Bijan & Gabrielle: Kettlebell Athletes

Today’s guests are the founders of Kettlebell Athletes, Bijan and Gabrielle.

Bijan is a sports performance physical therapist who is a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist. Bijan believes in guiding his clients beyond pain and back to doing the activities that they love at the highest level. His primary tool for performance and rehabilitation are kettlebells due the versatility for loading, power production, and restoring strength and coordination.

Gabrielle is a registered nurse who has pivoted out of the traditional healthcare system. Gabrielle has a background in Primary care serving people through health education and creating sustainable lifestyle changes. With limited time and resources to educate and empower her clients within the system Gabrielle has transitioned to a fitness nurse role. This has allowed her to integrate her knowledge in physical training, nutrition, wellness, and disease prevention to help people make the complete transformation they are looking for. Together they founded kettlebell athletes to merge their expertise and provide their clients with a powerful transformation.
