Past mistakes can leave us feeling guilt and shame for a long time.  They can leave us stuck on the journey of life.  We all have a past and it can be a major roadblock that keeps us from experiencing the abundant life Jesus said He came to give.  Peter made past mistakes, but in John 21, Jesus leads him beyond the roadblock of his past, and this passage shows us how to move beyond the roadblock of our past as well.
