As disciples, followers of Jesus, we need to endure trials, testing and longsuffering. Matthew 24 says, "He who endures to the end, shall be saved." Being a disciple, requires us to OBSERVE what He has commanded. To see it, apply it, and obey it. How serious it is when we trample Jesus, the son of God, under our feet when we don't choose Him, but rather be the god of our own lives. The blood that was shed and sprinkled on the Mercy Seat to make peace between God and man - we cannot count it as ordinary, or mock the Spirit of Grace - we will be judged, and it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. He is coming to bring justice on the earth.

What are we becoming?

Examining “As it is in Heaven” (Matthew 6 : 9-13) means examining what we are choosing. Choosing His Kingdom AUTOMATICALLY means saying “no” to the kingdom of the Earth. It is a love relationship with the King of Kings, Jesus, that causes lesser loves to fall away.

When the Kingdom of Heaven comes, it will not fit into the ways of the world. (John 18 : 36)

CHURCH - our lane is the EARTH! It's God's dominion, Jesus is the King, and the world needs the truth to be set free. God put a system in place to have His will be done on earth - PRAYER & DOMINION. We must be in relational communion with God in order to exercise the delegated authority for influencing all areas of society. The ramification of Christians not taking dominion is ungodliness ruling.

What if everything we've ever known about Church, is not like it is in Heaven?

What if what we're comfortable with is not God?

What if what makes us comfortable doesn't make Him comfortable?

Church it's not about us. It's about Jesus, and God wants to break a culture of religion that is picky and preferential. God is wanting us to transition from singing about someone to seeing Him, for our worship to become about Him, and not just words we sing. As it is in Heaven. The challenge is sacrificing our will and choosing and trusting that what God wants is better than what I am sure is good. It's laying our crowns down. It's looking at Him and saying Holy, Holy, because He is worthy of all the praise on the Earth as it is in Heaven.

William Wood, from Global Awakening, shares with us the importance of seeing ourselves through the lens of our Creator. "When we desire to be somebody else, or take on somebody else's identity, or find our identity through some other means, we create within ourselves a dual identity, which creates an internal conflict that can only bring trauma to the soul. It is so important to understand who we are in Christ, and discover who we were created to be. The best way to see who you are, is by seeing yourself through the lens of your Creator. When you see yourself through God's lens, and allow Him to define who you are, you won't see yourself as you are, you'll see yourself as you're created to be."

Jesus has all authority in the Earth. This is Jesus' earth, and He's looking for ambassadors who will possess it for Him as authorized representatives of Jesus, as God pleads through our lives for people to be reconciled to Him. Our lives should be a walking billboard, through our words and actions - "Be reconciled to God." It's our job to take back the earth, teaching people to obey and conform their lives to be like Jesus. Church, we have to stop apologizing about the message of Jesus on the Earth, while the Kingdom of Darkness is boldly shouting its agenda. It's Jesus' earth!

Church, we have an assignment! It is God's original plan. It is to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to the Earth. It is through Jesus that we are redeemed from a dead spirit to a born again, living spirit that can house Holy Spirit. It's the same power as Jesus himself was anointed with to fulfill God's plan. Jesus used the power He was given to "do good" everywhere He went teaching, praying, laying on of hands, healing, delivering and pouring the Kingdom of Heaven into people. In turn, as "you go," you are to release the Kingdom of Heaven into others teaching, praying, laying on of hands, healing, and delivering. This is how we bring Heaven to Earth!

Maranatha is a groan and a prayer that before the return of Jesus will be the overwhelming cry of all of us, both individually and corporately - "COME LORD JESUS!"

It is the plan of God that the Church, as His people, recover the Maranatha cry to determine that our lives are in alignment with His desire for us. In the early church there was a declaration - "Maranatha!" that has mostly been lost today, meaning - "The Lord HAS come. The Lord IS coming." This is the gospel, the good news of hope we are extending to the world. Jesus has come and provided forgiveness for sins, but He's also coming back to judge the living and the dead, and He's coming back to restore Eden and the Kingdom of David.
