God is always calling us forward to a new season, and sometimes it requires a big step, sometimes small steps, sometimes it's scary, but He's always drawing us into what He has for us next. Have you ever been stuck somewhere trying to get somewhere else, because something was preventing you from reaching where you really want to go? Our hopes can dry up around mountainous circumstances (our Harans) in our lives. Do you have hopes and dreams that have died in disappointment? In offense? In tragedy? We all have issues, disappointments or things that have happened to us, and if we aren't careful - that Haran - can be the place we stop and dwell and get stuck. The things we won't walk away from, cause us to stop short of where God wants us to go. Are you dwelling somewhere that you should have departed from?

We can have HOPE in our life if we settle on two things - believing that God's plan for me is always a future and a hope it will cause hope to arise in me no matter what my circumstances are because 1) God never changes and 2) He never lies, but always honors His Word. We are supposed to lay hold of the hope that is set before us - anticipating and expecting that what He said He will perform. It's available for you and me, but it you won't lay hold of it - you won't experience it. It is "this" hope that we have as an anchor. Our hope in our hearts has to be heavy to outweigh the confusion and doubts. Just having an anchor does not hold you. We have to set our hope on the right thing or it doesn't hold us. My hope is set in what He says and not on what my desires are. Even after you set your anchor - when conditions change, RESET YOUR ANCHOR. Get back in the Word again. Reset on what God's promised you, and say, "I'm believing what God says."

𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. No matter how good things are or bad things are in our life don't get tripped up in a moment, because life is a journey, not a moment. There will be times in life that we feel like hope isn't there, but God is with us on the journey and in the moments, and He's taking us from one place to another place. The presence of resistance and opposition in our life makes us stronger. In Christianity we sometimes think we need to stay away from problems and adversity and struggles, and really, God wants us to walk through it, because on the other side is the promise. When we live for Jesus it's going to cost us something. The symbol of Christianity is a cross not a crown. Sometimes we want to stop at the cross, when in fact we need to walk through the cross and experience Resurrection life on the other side. He's strengthening you through it all to obtain all He has for you in order to sustain it. It's all about who you are becoming!

God wants to take all of us on a journey from where we are to where He wants us to be. We can't get so discouraged and stuck in our moments and seasons - that we live in hopelessness. Moments and seasons will pass. God wants to stir up HOPE in our lives. Are you ready for the journey? Are you confident of better things ahead in your life?

What are you facing or surrounded by that seems BIGGER or impossible that requires supernatural intervention - a miracle? Are you willing to go FARTHER in your walk with God? Where is He stretching you beyond your comfort zone? How can you use your faith and patience to hold on LONGER to His promise? It's your choice - Jesus wants to do amazing things in your life, and sometimes we avoid it to stay comfortable. Start praying bigger, miraculous, unbelievable prayers.

How does God want to build the church BEYOND you? 1) BIGGER: God is bigger, and He wants us to think bigger. When we think bigger it creates an innate need for God in our life, and He's challenging our thinking! 2) FARTHER: God wants to stretch us beyond our limits, and beyond what's comfortable. and 3) LONGER: God wants to build staying power in us, so we are still burning long after the emotion, the hype and the event are over.

Building the Church is about building people. Church is NOT a place we go or attend - it's about who we become. It's who Jesus is building on the inside of us, and then it moves from just being about "in you" to being about "with you." It's partnership with God and people to build beyond just ourselves. We are FIT together, BUILT together and KNIT together. It's doing life together, because relationships make us stronger. It's how God is building His Kingdom.

You are the Church, and God wants to build the Church in You, with You and beyond You. What does it mean for God to build the Church "In" me? When God builds the Church "In" you - He's not building a building or an organization - but rather He's building each individual person in the body. There are many members with many functions a part of one body - the CREW and the CREW member. A strong crew member equals a strong crew, and a stronger crew can now make more and stronger crew members and on and on. You are valued. You have what others need inside of you. God wants to mature us so that we go from consumer to contributor with all of our abilities - who you are.

Do you know the value of your individual function? Are you building it? Do you know that who you are is more important that what you do? Are you building your spiritual abilities by overcoming resistance?
