In our first weekly instalment of the Robicia Tennis Podcast, we discus who's playing this week in the Adelaide International and the Singapore Tennis Open.
The remaining two battled it out for the Australian Open title, where the eight-time and defending champion proved to be too difficult for Daniil Medvedev to overcome, despite his 20-match winning streak.
In the only singles match of the day, Daniil Medvedev stopped Stefanos Tsitsipas from reaching his first grand slam final, defeating him in straight sets to advance to a second grand slam final. Aussie wildcards Sam Stosur and Matthew Ebden advanced to the finals of the mixed doubles after a close battle with Krawczyk and Salisbury.
More players suffer ab strains, bringing the total up to five who have struggled with ab injuries. Also, two American women advance to set up a quarterfinal clash, whilst two Russian men do the same.
