Welcome to another episode of our founder insights, where we pass along what we get from the unseen, helping you navigate your founder's journey as you help build the next era.
This week, I take inspiration from Tony (2026) and Anthony Bourdain's origin story to gain insights into how to navigate the founders' journey.
We take a look at the idea of the catalyst, the reasons why we become founders, as well as the idea of climbing the ladder of ideas. Inspired by Plato's Ladder of Love, it's a way to help us see how sometimes the first dream or idea often needs us to go on another journey, for us to become the person who can bring the original dream or idea to life.
Also, happy Ada Lovelace Day! Don't forget that the tech industry and the first computer programme were built by a woman who could see into the unseen and believed in magic. Read more about Ada here: https://robinsonhewitt.com/articles/ada-lovelace-and-the-power-of-imagination-in-technology

Welcome to another episode of How to Build the Future, inspired by the movies. This month we're taking a look at how to build flying cars and how to design the future of our skies.
Flying cars have always been a symbol of the future, but the real challenge is building the tech, infrastructure and systems that allow them to operate safely and sustainably.
Let's explore the future of our skies, from drones, autonomous systems and AI to navigation, energy, regulation and the natural environment, and ask what it would take to build a future of flight that works for people and the planet.

This week, there's a call to adopt a gratitude practice, and a need to tidy up the loose threads of your life. It's time to clear out the closet of your life, and don't be tempted by things just because you're bored.
It's time to stay focused, stay boring, and allow yourself to be inspired by a movie this spooky season.

This week, there's a call to not invalidate the stepping stones of your journey. Wait for the storm to pass before you rush ahead, and in the meantime, find your secondary "thing" that's more on the creative side to help balance out your work & play. One day at a time.

Welcome to the next evolution of the podcast, where the focus for the next few months will be on founder insights. I'll pass along what I get from the unseen, helping you navigate your founder's journey as you help build the next era.
This week, there's a focus on decoding the name of your idea/business and yourself, as well as remembering your why underneath it all.
It's a clean slate, so take stock of what you're tired of doing and what you'd prefer to bring in/continue to do more of.

Would've, Could've, Should've. Almost every founder has a moment where they look back and think, "What if I pursued the idea back then? What would life look like now?"
Use the next time you notice a moment of déjà vu to make a decision that opens the door to what you want to build. And remember, being as delicate as a butterfly can make all the impact in the world.

We tend to think of time as objective, where a year is a year, a month is a month, a day is a day. But there are different ways we experience and understand time:
But what happens when technology can show us a different experience of time? What happens if it can pierce through the veil of our understanding of linear time and allow us to see into new dimensions or potentials to tell us our futures? Would you want to know?

Artificial intelligence, data centres, robotics, and every emerging technology we create have a physical footprint and an impact on our environment. They use land, water, energy, and minerals. Yet we often talk about digital technology as though it exists outside the natural world.
Today, let's explore what changes when we recognise that technology has always been ecological. We draw on anthropology, Jane Goodall's observations, Doughnut Economics, and systems thinking, all to argue that the future of innovation won't be defined by intelligence alone, but by our ability to design technologies that exist in relationship with people, communities, and the living systems around them.

Long before we had maps, algorithms, or AI, we relied on our ability to read patterns, notice subtle signs, and make sense of an uncertain world by trusting our own internal knowing. It wasn't intuition without evidence, but it was perception.
In an age where information is infinite, answers are instant, and everyone has an opinion, the real challenge is no longer finding more knowledge. It's learning how to trust yourself enough to know what's right for you and what you're building.
In this episode, we explore the art of perception and why we've gradually outsourced it to other people and technologies, what anthropology can teach us about how humans once understood the world, and why reclaiming it may become one of the defining human advantages of the AI era.
