Here is a little something different.  As a DJ I've always had an appreciation for all types of music.  The last few years I've even gotten into listening to Country music just to change it up.  With that in mind I challenged myself to put together a country mix perfect for those long road trips or backyard bbq's.  Hope you enjoy this one.  I had fun putting it together.  Here's the Country mixer by DJ Alex Roc.

This series continues to be one of my favourite.  Nice chill house capturing so many elements of music.  Episode 16 is an instrumental bonanza playing funk, disco, afro jazz.  Don't even know how to describe this one.  Its just so funky.  A summer must play when sipping that Aperol Spritz or Sangria.

After a few throwback series I needed to get back to some house music.  Here is episode 31 of the RocCast.  Afro Beats, Disco Filters, Stabbing Tech synths.  This one gets deep, dark, and puts you in that state of house you crave.  Lots of 3am eyes closed hand raisers and foot stompers.

This episode has been a long time coming.  Many people have asked me for a Euro Mix as far as I can remember.  I've been running this podcast for over 15 years and it was meant to be mostly house music.  But because of the response I've gotten with these Throwback mixes I've finally decided to release The Euro Dance mix everyone has been waiting for.  It all started at the beginning of my career in 1995 at a club in mid Toronto called Taboo.  We were live to air on now known as "Z103.5" at the height of the Euro Dance scene.  The famous night was 5 & 2 Thursdays and people would line up around the block.  This mix is how I remember playing this music.  How I brought it to the dance floor.  Enjoy this Throwback as I won't be doing another Euro Dance mix for awhile.
