THE FOUNDING STORY

What started as a mission to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day has grown to include more than just our military heroes and more than just the one holiday. Carry The Load works to bring all Americans together to participate in honoring our nation’s heroes every day. See the full story in the video to the right.

-2011 Founded by Veteran U.S. Navy SEALs, Clint Bruce and Stephen Holley, Carry The Load's mission to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day featured a 20-hour and 11-minute Memorial March that took place on Memorial Day in Dallas.
-2012 Launched a National Relay, consisting of an East Coast Route from West Point to Dallas.
-2016 Added a West Coast Route from Seattle to Dallas.
-2017 Covered more than 19 states, including 50 City Rallies throughout the country.
-2019 Added a Midwest Route from Minneapolis to Dallas; footprint increases to 40 states.
-2020 Added a Mountain State Route from Minot to Dallas; footprint increases to 46 states and 70+ Rallies.

As a matter of fact, then-candidate Trump first put his toes into the political waters at our January 2015 convention in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Restoring Republican Principles with Salleigh Grubbs | The Situation Room

Salleigh Grubs is the GM with day-to-day operating responsibilities of another successful manufacturing-related business in metro Atlanta that provides equipment and services across Georgia and the United States. She is the past president of the Chemical Coaters Association of Georgia and present Treasurer, along with a former Voice of Democracy Judge for the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of the Marietta Middle School SGT. Other current activities include volunteering with the elderly and foster dog program, community chorale, church and civic involvement. Through all of this, Salleigh has loved Cobb County, the state of Georgia and her country and has begun working every day to restore Republican principles, defend freedom and fight for election integrity in her county and state.
