As we conclude our study of 1 & 2 Peter, Peter reveals details of how our world will end. Rather than being a “spoiler" this is, in fact, a really good thing to know! Understanding that nothing in the universe is permanent (and that the earth is not our real home) should help keep us from ungodly living. The fact that Jesus is coming back (and heaven awaits the righteous) should bring us joy. It should also cause us to live holy lives. We’ll look at four characteristics of the Christian who really believes that the end of the world is near.
