We continue our series in the Book of Daniel—Exiles in Babylon! So far in the book that bears his name we've seen Daniel and his friends exhibit wisdom and discretion beyond their years. This week as we move into chapter 3 we discover that, despite Nebuchadnezzar's acclaim of Daniel's God, it appears he's learned little as he succumbs to a prideful episode that results in the famous Fiery Furnace for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. This week we move into chapter 2 and the first of many dreams and visions that God gives to men and for Daniel to interpret. It's a long chapter so do take the time to read Daniel 2:1-49 before Sunday to be prepared to hear the Word and from the Holy Spirit.

Along with the book of Revelation and Matthew 24 in particular, Daniel provides the most significant prophesies related to the second coming of Jesus Christ and the end of the age. This Sunday, we conclude our 2-week, mini-series called ReBoot—How to Live a Transformed Life.
