This is just one example for us how Jesus models being light in this world.

In fact, John begins his story of Christmas in heaven and before the foundation of the world.

This week Pastor Glenn concludes our study in the book of Jonah—It’s a Whale of a Tale. This Sunday we’ll be looking at Chapter 4:5-11. The end of the story is a bit of a cliff hanger in one sense, however as we've seen so far in the book, there's a lot going on in Jonah's story and his relationship to the Lord God that is true for all of us today! The actual ending might surprise you!

This week Pastor Glenn continues our study in the book of Jonah—It’s a Whale of a Tale. This Sunday we’ll be looking at Chapter 4:1-4. At the end of chapter 3 it feels like we can hear the Lord God say, "Mission accomplished," since the Ninevites surprise everyone by turning from their evil ways. However, as will see this Sunday, Jonah is not happy at all. No, he’s angry!

This week Pastor Glenn continues our study in the book of Jonah—It’s a Whale of a Tale. This Sunday we’ll be looking at Chapter 3:1-10 where we find Jonah cleaning himself up on the beach and for second time he hears the call of the Lord to go to Nineveh. What happens next is the key to the story and great lessons for us today.

This week Pastor Rudi continues our study in the book of Jonah—It’s a Whale of a Tale. This Sunday we’ll be looking at Chapter 2:1-10 where we find Jonah spending his 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the great fish. Finally, he's ready to pray to his God as he realizes his situation is rather dire.
