God has revealed Himself to every person and He reigns over all creation, every idol and soul of man.

Do you envy the wicked who live in ease while you struggle? Psalm 73 shows how to trust God and be healed of envy.

Sin destroys peace, health, and joy. Coming clean before God brings immediate and total forgiveness and relief.

Who may stand before the King of glory? Only those with clean hands and a pure heart. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty!

When many things are rising against you, be encouraged; the Lord is a shield around you. Take comfort in what He has done before; He can do it again. Salvation belongs to the Lord!

Jesus promised that He would one day return. When He returns it will be unexpected. Some will be watchful as a servant awaiting his Master’s return, others will be caught by surprise and not be ready. Jesus will gather together the righteous and the wicked. The righteous will enter eternal life, the wicked will enter eternal punishment. Like a reaper with sickle harvesting wheat all will stand before Him to be bundled and separated. Jesus will establish the eternal kingdom. He will crush and put an end to all failed earthly kingdoms. It will not be by elections, or bombs but rather accomplished solely by His power.

Time is likely the greatest commodity one has. God is not bound to it because He is its creator and thus sits outside its parameters. The prophet Isaiah told King Hezekiah to put his affairs in order, for the end of his life was upon him. If you were faced with that reality today, what would you do with your time? King Hezekiah humbled himself and acknowledged God, finding his refuge in Him. Time is short, time is valuable, and the Bible tells us to make the most of it for the days are evil.

God promises that you will reap what you sow. The flesh is the sinful appetite and impulses contrary to righteousness. When we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption & pain. The Spirit of the living God is received within our souls upon placing our faith in Jesus. Believers are filled, warned, and led by the Spirit. When we sow to the Spirit, we reap eternal life and blessing. Do not lose heart in doing good, for in due time you will reap. The faithful are encouraged to continue casting seeds of faithfulness and obedience even in seasons of weeping. The promise is that those who sow in tears will reap with joyful shouting. Are you sowing to the flesh or the Spirit?

God promised to bring salvation to all men, granting them forgiveness and eternal life. This salvation is only in Jesus as He alone is the fullness of God, resurrected from the dead with the power to save. Salvation is only received by faith and not works. If salvation were as the result of works, man would be able to put God in his debt. As it is, salvation is a gift to be received, not a prize to be earned. Salvation makes new. When a person is truly saved, they are transformed into a new person bearing the fruit of joyfully concurring with the law of God in the inner man. Have you been made new by receiving the promise of salvation? Are you proclaiming and urging others to believe on Jesus to be saved?

The Bible declares that God works all things together for good to those who love God. The Lord will use trials that we encounter to render the fruit of endurance and strength. God can use evil that is committed against the believer for good. Affliction strips us of ourselves and drives us to the Lord and His word, positioning us where He will use us most. God can use your failure. Like Peter, having thrice denied Jesus, all of your failures can be turned to a testimony of God’s grace and mercy if we will just give it to Him. Have you given all of your life to Jesus, who can make it new?
