  • Fruit of the Spirit: Peace

What is peace? How do we get it?

Peace isn’t something we can buy or earn; it is can only be found in the Lord. The Bible tells us that Jesus himself is our peace. Spend a few minutes with us as we look at obtaining peace in the chaos of the world.

We will cover the following verses:
    GALATIANS 5:22-25
    JOHN 14:27
    JEREMIAH 6:13-14
    ROMANS 12:14-18
    ROMANS 5:1-2

  • Fruit of the Spirit: Joy

Is there joy in your life? Do you struggle to find joy? As a believer in Christ, joy should be present in your life.
The joy of the Lord is our strength. It comes from our salvation and should be a witness to everyone around us.

In this message, Pastor Wes defines joy and discusses what it should look like in the life of a believer.

Watch or listen as we go through these verses:

    GALATIANS 5:22-25
    PSALM 73:25-28
    1 PETER 1:6-9
    ACTS 16:22-32

  • Plant. Worm. Wind.

Jonah loved the plant that God gave Him more than he loved the people of Nineveh. When God took the plant away, Jonah wished he was dead.

Do you only want to follow Jesus when it benefits you? Or are you willing to follow Him no matter the cost or trial? Is your obedience dependent on your preferences?

Grab a Bible & follow along with the following verses:

    JONAH 4:5
    JONAH 4:6
    JONAH 4:7-9
    JONAH 4:10-11

  • Who's Your Ninevite?

Who is your Ninevite? Who is the person that you wish The Lord did not have compassion for? Are you wishing that you could decide who receives the grace of Jesus Christ and who does not?

At first the answer is probably no, but like Jonah, we all may have a person in our lives that we are so angry with that we don’t want the grace of God to be extended to them. Maybe it’s that person who wronged you or hurt you so badly that you can’t look past it. Jonah felt that way about the people of Nineveh. This week Pastor Wes talks about forgiveness, the forgiveness we've been given and the forgiveness we are called to give in return.
He will cover the following verses:

    JONAH 4:1-4
    JONAH 4:3
    JONAH 4:4
    MATTHEW 18:23-33

  • The Message To Nineveh

What is real belief in the Lord? Can I believe, yet still not truly know Jesus? Is the message to Nineveh still true today?

When Jonah came out of his sin, he went to Nineveh and gave them a message of salvation. The town of Nineveh heard the message and repented. In this message, Pastor Wes Morris talks about what true repentance looks like and what it means to put on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grab a Bible & follow along with us:

    JONAH 3:4
    JONAH 3:5
    JONAH 3:6-9
    2 CORINTHIANS 7:9-10
    JONAH 3:10

  • The Second Time

Are you hurting? Do you feel like life has no meaning? Are you turning to people, drugs or other things to find the fix? When your life is in despair and you have nowhere to turn, what should you do? Who should you turn to?

In this message, Pastor Wes Morris takes a look at Jonah when he was at his worst & what he vowed to the Lord.

Spend a few minutes watching and finding the answers in the following verses:

    JONAH 2:1-7
    JONAH 2:8-10
    JONAH 3:1-3
