Can we have joy when our plans fail? Can joy be sustained when circumstances are disastrous? The life of Paul, along with his letter to the Philippians gives us many pointers on how to maintain our joy no matter what we are facing.

What is joy? Is it possible to walk in joy when life is totally awful? When our carefully laid plans do not pan out? Walking through Philippians, we will look at the true meaning of joy and how it should shape our lives.

In our closing message on Galatians, Pastor Carlos shares about the principle of reaping and sowing and how our lives correlate directly to the life of a farmer - seasons, waiting for growth, "seed-watching" and more.

"Everything is a response to relationship not a response to law." Galatians 6 shows us how to live according to God's Word based on our relationship with Him and the power of the Holy Spirit, not based on works or rule-following. "But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but a new creation." - Galatians 6:14-15

God never intended us ONLY to be servants. He has always desired that we would be sons and daughters. By His Spirit we can cry out "Abba Father". Pastor Carlos shares from Galatians 4.

How are we to live? If we try to serve Jesus in our power, we will fail every time. We must live by grace through faith. This is not of ourselves. This is the gift of God!
