This week on the Rocket Punch Cast, the team sit down and talk ALL about The Division 2! After getting some good hands-on time with the latest iteration of Ubisoft's military-style live service shooter, Will and Cameron discuss what has impressed them about the release so far, some of the stumbles they have seen, and also ask what other games in the genre, like Anthem and Destiny, could learn from The Division, for better or worse!

As fans of geek and gaming content, one of the most fantastic events that we feel we get to participate in are conventions. Yes, there have been conventions WAY before our crowd started hosting them, but it has always been great to get out from behind our mics, and experience this culture with other like-minded people at large venues each and every year, all while checking out the latest and greatest in games, movies, TV, and more and meeting the actors and entertainers who help make those creations possible. We at Rocket Punch have been to a multitude of conventions since we have started, including BlizzCon, PAX, DragonCon, and more, but one that we have been especially fond of is one home grown right here in our hometown of Huntsville, AL. So when we were given the chance to talk to the creator of this local con, we couldn’t pass up the chance!

One aspect of becoming content creators, especially within the last few years, has been the numerous opportunities we have discovered for charitable efforts one can help support. Yes, we do participate in Extra Life every year, but as we have continued to make podcasts and videos for the community, we have also found MANY more noble endeavors from others working to assist people in need with the power of gaming, community, and more, and it has been one of our big pushes to help in any way we can with these efforts. But one of the many perceptions we had, as we also saw with others on the internet, with supporting charities was that we thought we had to be big creators ourselves to truly make an impact, and after learning more about all of the many institutes available to assist, their processes, and especially after this Creator Spotlight, we have realized that anyone big or small, can work with these companies to help support their causes, so that is exactly what we did!
