The Rocket Punch Show

Surprise! Even though the team came down with the sickness earlier this week and we didn't have a proper episode, we were still able to get some time late (LATE) in the evening to bring you listeners a bite-sized episode this week! This episode, Cam and Will meet up to talk about their impressions from the Destiny 2 reveal, and whether Bungie (and customers) will fall into the same traps they did with Destiny. Also, the crew talks about the current ATLUS/Persona 5 streaming debacle and discuss whether it could hurt the surging Persona brand in the long run.

There are three things that strike terror into the hearts of children around the world: darkness, monsters, and Seth when Destiny comes up. We descend into this dark place once more to share our thoughts on what we want to see in Destiny 2. Can Cameron and Will contain the fury, or will the power once again destroy all life in the universe. We also discuss Mass Effect Andromeda. Specifically, we discuss which aliens we want to bone.

This week, Seth returns to the show talks about where he went last week: PAX East! Seth talks about the sights and sounds he was able to get his hands on, while being sure to make everyone else jealous in the process. Plus, the crew discusses their anticipation for Mass Effect: Andromeda (including some hands-on time with the game that Seth got to play at PAX), and Seth and Will plan out some sound strategies for talking down all those shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The March Madness of video games begins for the Rocket Punch crew this week! The excitement is at maximum capacity in this week's episode, as the crew (finally) discusses the big, new releases gamers have been waiting for! Cameron leads the discussion on Horizon: Zero Dawn, and decides whether Sony may have a new leading lady in their PlayStation exclusive lineup, the crew finally gets the Nintendo Switch in their hands, and give their impressions on the hardware, and Seth guides the crew through the discussion on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and helps to figure out if the latest entry to the Zelda franchise is worth your time (SPOILER: it is!).
