With everyone talking about the same thing - COVID 19 of course - on today's Report I talked about my attitude towards dealing with it. I seem to go back and forth from deep concern to feeling it's overblown. I also discussed some of the things we're told to do (don't touch your face, especially)  and )how difficult and counter-intuitive it is to do the right things.

The fascinating lead-up to the most important Presidential election in our lifetime continues, and I brought up two things that pertain to it.  First is the latest question people are asking: Whom will Elizabeth Warren decide to endorse? An argument can be made for both Biden and Warren. The other issue involves the Vice Presidential candidates. In the past, the choice was invariably a last-minute throwaway choice (Hello, Sarah Palin!). This year Biden would be 78 and Sanders 79 on Inauguration day. It would be a good idea for Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders to decide whom they would select now. Our guest on this day after Super Tuesday was former SF Mayor and Assembly Speaker Willie Brown. Joe Biden's upset victory last night brought clarity to the question of who will get the Democratic nomination to take on President Trump in the November election.  With a dramatic upset win in Texas, along with surprise wins in Massachusetts and Minnesota, Joe Biden has amazingly surged to the top. Though winning California easily, Bernie Sanders lost at least 9 of 10 states. Super Tuesday is finally here, so today we talked politics with US Senator Barbara Boxer, who just two days ago formally announced her support for Joe Biden. With Bootieige, Klobuchar and Steyer all having dropped out this past weekend, she believes that gives Joe a much better shot at defeating Bernie Sanders for the nomination. We would have been remiss had we not talked about last night's Democratic debate, so we had David Drucker, Senior Correspondent for the Washington Examiner, join us to compare notes. With no real clear winners and losers, much of the focus was on the inability of the moderators to control the debate. We talked with Bill Press, who is in a unique position to discuss the effect of a possible Bernie Sanders ticket on the down-ballot candidates since for three years he was the head of the California Democratic Party. We disagreed on the impact. He felt if they simply focused on the parts of Bernie's platform they liked, they'd win.
