Alabama's Senate and House have just passed an anti-abortion bill that is, in my opinion, draconian and disgusting. It essentially bans all abortions in the state, sending doctors who do so to prison for up to 99 years. We talked with Shannon Hovis, California Director of NARAL-Pro Choice America, who pointed out there is no confusion as to why some 30 states have passed or are seriously considering restrictions on abortion:they ultimately want to see Roe v. We talked with famed Washington political correspondent and columnist Elizabeth Drew about the word that seems to be everywhere inside the beltway: Impeachment. She and I have a difference of opinion on that issue. She points out that if President Trump, whose lies in office have passed the 10,000 mark (per the Washington Post,) isn't impeached, who could be? Elizabeth then sees a future with Congress as an unequal branch of government. I disagree because I believe impeachment would split this country even more and that if Congress goes that route, more Americans would side with Trump, feeling an election in two years is the way to deal with the issue. Relations with North Korea has become a major issue once again, so to provide analysis we were joined by CBS Network Military Analyst and Retired Major Mike Lyons. After years of speculation, some factual information has been obtained by the New York Times which gives the American public an insight into President Trump's tax returns.
