Host Ronn Owens talked with John Cox, the GOP candidte for Governor of California. Issues discussed included his disgust with the legislature in Sacramento, the gas tax we will be voting on in next month's election, his support from President Trump, homelessness and what he perceived as inaction by local officials to make San Francisco create a better tourist climate and whether he would be able to get anything done as Governor, given both the overwhelmingly Democratic majority in the Capital and his dismissive attitude towards the Senators and Assemblypersons during his campaign. As Ronn pointed out at the end, there are very few people who wouldn't share his concerns, but he spent the interview mostly delineating those concerns without specific solutions. You can listen to the Ronn Owens Report weekdays at 12:50 pm, 3:50 pm, and 9:50 pm on KGO810 or google Ronn Owens Podcasts for any of the programs aired in the last six months.
