The Rookie Playbook: The UK NFL Podcast

Where we talk about the Pro Bowl, why Evan wishes Tom Brady would die, Tom Parry Jones forgets to turn up, then remembers, the boys ask me ridiculous questions to test what I've learnt and my ability to turn everything into an innuendo. Merry Christmas one and all!

Post Season Series: Where we discuss who's winning in each of the divisions, who is most likely to get to the playoffs and that Gruden is may be hard but he still loves you.

The Basics Series: A lighter episode where we talk about where to watch the game, which other podcasts to listen to, which Youtube channels to watch, which Facebook groups are cool, how to get your merchandise, which movies to watch and much much more (including at least three Tight End innuendos, just for the fans you understand)

The Basics Series: A special this week with a Director of the British American Football Referee Association, Roger Goodgroves. We talk officiating in the NFL and the UK, how difficult it is to see everything, and Rhys narrowly avoids calling all UK refs rubbish.

The Basics Series: Fun with Flags, where we talk common penalties, whether kickers like to be roughed and Tom explains how it's ok to put your hands inside another player's pants, I mean pads, as long as you don't adjust his position.

The Basics Series: Where we discuss players on Offense, Defense and even a bit about Special teams. That the Linebackers are kings and that everyone hates the Dallas Cowboys!

The Basics Series: Where we discuss scoring, moving the ball down the pitch, the fact that it's not called a pitch and that kicking the ball is complicated! We are also joined for a Week 9 preview by Evan Wilson, a Seahawks fan from Canada.

The Basics Series: What the hell is the NFL? I'm joined by Tom Parry-Jones, and Rhys Taplin to discuss the make up of the league, who plays who, how you get to the Super Bowl, and which team has the best kit (apparently I have to say uniform, but that sounds way too much like school). Oh and whether American football is just rugby for wimps?
