The significance of the twelfth chapter of Revelation is understood the same way the first eleven and the last ten will be. Come to the text with a plain understanding of the previous 65 books of the Bible. Read the text as a whole before coming to conclusions about it. And understand that the actions and attitude of our enemy aren't the focus of the book. It's the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Any attention given to our enemy should be taken in order to make Jesus all the more glorious.
1. Our victory against the enemy is only found in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
2. If you haven't read the first 65 books of the Bible, the 66th isn't going to make a lot of sense to you.
3. Satan hates the Jewish people. Don't follow his example.
