But when we put on our 1st-century glasses and look at ancient medical science, Roman pagan history, and the cosmic war of Genesis 6, the weird stuff suddenly makes perfect sense.

Because they were drawn to His miracles, not surrendered to His Lordship. We unpack the difference between love and trust, the Greek wordplay behind “believe” and “entrust,” and what it means to move from being part of the crowd to becoming a trusted friend. The question at the center: Are we seeking Jesus for what He can do, or are we living in a way that He can entrust Himself to us?
