At Rosewood Church, we're starting off our year by revisiting the fundamentals of Christian faith with a four-part sermon series called "What We Believe". Our first message deals with our belief about the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. 

Next week is the beginning of the Advent season, a time when we prepare ourselves for the coming birth of Jesus Christ. Today, we prepare for this journey at the foot of the cross, considering again the purpose behind the birth of Jesus.

What is the vision that God has for us as Christians? Today we look at what it takes to build strong spiritual walls in our own life with Worship, Connection, Deepening, and Reaching as our priority.

When God gives us a vision of His will and purpose how do we start the implementation process? What do we do when people stand in opposition to the vision? These are the questions we tackle as we continue out sermon series called Embracing the Vision.

Because of Nehemiah's knowledge of scripture and his desire to see God's will accomplished, he had the vision to rebuild the temple walls in Jerusalem. With this same knowledge, what our God-given vision for the church today?

What does it mean for a local church to truly be a part of the world-wide Body of Christ? We reflect on 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 as we explore this question.
