March is coming to a close, but not before the boys get in on the madness. Jackson, Carter, and Jeff create a bracket of 64 iconic movie villains and have them battle it out to see who is truly the most well rounded, evil villain in cinema. Using several different parameters to judge the field, the boys witness blow outs, upsets, and close finishes as they crown the most dastardly villain.
Better out than in, I always say! In honor of the recent releases of "Orion and the Dark" and "Kung Fu Panda 4", Jackson, Carter and Jeff look back on nearly 50 Dreamworks animated movies and fight to rank them all. Tempers flare, childhoods are destroyed, and some movies reign higher than others. Which ones are the cream of the crop and which ones fall to the bottom of the totem pole?
In the wake of Hollywood's biggest night, Jackson, Carter, and Jeff give their knee jerk reactions from the 96th Academy Awards. The boys discuss the telecast, the presenters, the bits, the speeches, and the winners and losers of the night. Finally, the boys redeem themselves in a brand new game: Movie Golf.
As written, the boys have returned to Arrakis to discuss the movie event of the year thus far: "Dune: Part II". Jackson, Carter, and Jeff discuss where they stand with "Dune" upon rewatch, what they thought of the sequel, and discuss the lofty public claims of it being one of the best movies ever made. Finally, Carter puts Jackson and Jeff to the test on the other acting credits of this ensemble cast
Forget it Jake, it's a podcast. Jackson and Carter officially welcome Jeff Brown as their new cohost and tackle another RCR Top 100 film: Chinatown. The boys discuss what is considered one of the greatest scripts ever put to screen, how the movie holds up 50 years later, then rank it amongst the RCR Top 100 movies. Then, Jeff gets his feet wet hosting a new game.
You can shine no matter what you're made of! On this final installment of "Seeing Double" February, Jackson and Carter are joined once again by Jeff Brown to tackle 2 childhood animated favorites: "Robots" and "Flushed Away". The boys discuss the shocking adult themes and fun humor of both movies, discuss what held up and what didn't, and finish out with a fun game of 'Movie Movie'.
We want to thank Jeff Brown for joining us for the month of February! More "Seeing Doubles" in the future, and more Jeff Brown as well!
We’re back with our penultimate episode of our February miniseries: “Seeing Double”. This week, Jackson and Carter are joined once again by Jeff Brown to tackle the worst pairing they have tackled to date: “Kangaroo Jack” and “Aloha”. They talk about the massive missteps and legacies of both of these stinkers.
It's time for another edition of "Seeing Double". Recurring guest, Jeff Brown, takes a brief week hiatus, so Jackson and Carter tackle some action comedies from their childhoods: "Get Smart" and "The Green Hornet". The boys discuss if these two movies have held up over the years, what redeeming qualities they may have, and what has not aged the best.
