International Fight Week officially kicked off with UFC Fight Night. TJ De Santis was live on the Sherdog Radio Network to recap the card that saw Eddie Alvarez dethrone Rafael Dos Anjos to capture the UFC lightweight championship. Joining him was former UFC fighter Yves Edwards and Anthony Walker from "The Fight Knights MMA Podcast." The trio also discussed Daniel Cormier's new opponent for UFC 200, Anderson Silva.

TJ De Santis and Josh Gross returned to the Sherdog Radio Network Thursday for an impromptu edition of "Beatdown." On this broadcast the guys react to the news that Jon Jones has been removed from Saturday's UFC 200 card due to a vialation of USADA's anti-doping policy. De Santis and Gross share their thoughts on the impact this has on the card, the statement this has on the eradication of performance enhancing drugs in mixed martial arts, and what message this sends to media, fighters, and fans.

On a special episode of “Beatdown” TJ De Santis goes deep in to the Sherdog Radio Network archive for an interview with Brock Lesnar. In this August 2007 interview Lesnar talks about his desire to compete in mixed martial arts just months removed from his mixed martial arts debut where he defeated Min Soo Kim. The future UFC heavyweight champion discussed his options at the time, his views on his first foray in to MMA competition, and what he saw in his future. Yves Edwards was truly in “The Neutral Corner” this week on the Sherdog Radio Network as he chats with American Top Team coaches Kami Barzini and Din Thomas. While Barzini and Thomas are a part of the same team they will stand opposite of one another as they corner their fighters in the main event of UFC 201. Thomas will be coaching his charge Tyron Woodley while Barzini will stand in the corner of welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. While Thomas explains to Edwards that July 30th’s match up is strictly business Barzini reminds us that it is a fight and Woodley is looking to take something that Lawler has worked for his entire life.
