The new book “Unrig the Game: What Women of Color Can Teach Everyone About Winning” is a playbook to supporting and retaining women of color in leadership roles to create lasting change in the world. It comes from a former labor community organizer Vanessa Priya Daniel, who is the founder of one of the nation’s premiere funders of women of color led organizations.

Debut author Saratoga Schaefer, originally from Brooklyn and named after Saratoga Springs, will have a book launch event at Northshire Bookstore in the Spa City on March 19th for their adult thriller, “Serial Killer Support Group.” The novel is about a woman who infiltrates a serial killer support group to track down her sister’s murderer.

John Feinstein, whose career as a columnist and bestselling author of books about sports made him one of the most notable sportswriters of his time, died Thursday. He was 69. John Feinstein was a regular sports columnist for the Post was a frequent contributor to a variety of radio programs, with a regular stint on National Public Radio. He joined our program often and it was already a treat to talk with him. Our final conversation was late last fall. We are a portion of that interview now, in memoriam.
