On today’s show, as we enter Week 6 of the NFL season, our sample size is now large enough to start to draw some solid conclusions. For starters, we can safely say that the NFC North is the best division in football, cumulatively with the most points scored, the fewest allowed, the best overall record, the most wins, fewest losses, and all teams with a positive differential, and the worst teams, the Packers and Bears, are a respectable 3-2. We have to start to take the Vikings seriously, given that they’ve actually beaten some real teams on their way to 5-0, and if the Commanders manage to upset the Ravens, we’ll have start to give them some credit too, and at the same time, we have to accept that preseason Playoff favs like the Eagles, Cowboys, Jets and Bengals may be more flawed than we knew, and to break it all down, we have our first Power Rankings of the season. Plus, the NBA season is just around the corner, so we’re getting ready with our season previews of the Eastern Conference. The Celtics are easily the betting favorites, but if the Knicks get the best version of KAT, if the Sixers stay healthy, and if the Bucks can hold off father time, we could get a new representative out of the East. So sit back, the NFL season is just cruising by as the MLB Playoffs play out and the NBA season approaches and we’re breaking down how it’s all unfolding, next on the Roundup Podcast so let’s get rolling . . .
