Welcome to Part 1 of Victoria Thornley.

Victoria is a double Olympian and Olympic Silver medalist, an u23 World Champion and World Silver medalist. Over her professional career for British rowing she has achieved success on all levels of the sport and has a wealth of experience in many boat classes including the two blue ribbon events; the single and the eight.

In this Part 1 we discuss her beginnings in the sport, her London campaign and how she ended up rowing with Britain's most decorated female Olympian at the Rio Olympics.

Emma Twigg is a New Zealand rower and recently won a silver medal in the woman's scull at the 2019 World Champs in Austria. She has rowed for a number of years which had brought her a World Champion title in 2014 and 3 Olympic games. After taking some time off she is back rowing and stronger than ever.

Robert Lucken is a member of the Netherlands Rowing Team and was part of their men's eight that won a silver medal at the 2019 World Championships. From first starting racing in 2009 Robert has also become a World Champion as well as winning a Bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games amongst other successes.
