The RPG Backlog

Prof, Anthony, and Tom return to dig into exploring Final Fantasy Adventure's overworld.

This week, Prof, Anthony, Travis, and Tom dive back into Final Fantasy Adventure for a little...human sacrifice?

ProfPlaysGames and friends Anthony, Tom, and Travis dig further into Final Fantasy Adventure and find out lovely things about a chocobo.

ProfPlaysGames, Tom, Anthony, and Travis dive into the first chunk of Final Fantasy Adventure, going from the start of the game to the town of Wendell (first visit). Along the way, they find keys, lose mattocks, and learn how the developers of this game stretched the limits of the Game Boy.

The manual: Final Fantasy Adventure

ProfPlaysGames is joined for this podcast arc by returning guests Anthony and Travis and by newcomer Tom. Tom's chosen the RPG we're all playing from our backlog for this discussion: Final Fantasy Adventure. It has a huge manual: Final Fantasy Adventure.

Sometimes, RPGs in the backlog aren't something you'll finish. Sometimes, you just want a taste. So it was for me with Yakuza 0--I just wanted to see what this Kazuma Kiryu was all about in advance of eventually tackling Yakuza: Like a Dragon in full. So here's a solo episode where I discuss my thoughts on the game.

ProfPlaysGames and his friend Scott move into New Home and the final battle with Asgore...and another. An absolutely wild ending.
