The Rugby League Pom-Cast by The Ramblings of a Saint

Venting frustration towards those of our fanbase who think we have a Devine right to win every match.

Perspective of our absentees, the atmosphere, life as a saints fan atm.

Remember. Don't worry about a thing, cos in the Red Vee it's gunna be alright.

Are fans right about the new Saints Era? is the dynasty over or is it a new one awaiting to be triggered into action. Paul Wellens is the right man, patience is needed, inexperienced in head coaching role but he's saying all the right things and needs the time to get that in action and trigger the new dynasty.

Talked about the Good of Hull KR, the bad of Hull FC and the ugly of St Helens attack and Hudd's in general.

I'm back and this time with accredited journalist Andrew Foster as we give our good, bad's and ugly's of the Rugby league world this week (episode recorded 28/3/23).

Leigh get praised, even Derek. talking with Andrew about what life's like being a Bradford bulls fan, from the highs and lows. even some championship stuff to go with it. hope you enjoy.

Episode 5 was a great return and now its time for episode 6

Saints v Huddersfield Preview to start us off slowly, the calm before the storm as I lay into the RFL and the Yorkshire mob! I go into detail on my thoughts and opinions on the organisations. plus I talk about how we can solve the refereeing shortages and raise the standards of referees and player by using the big draw of Europe as a pulling factor to the sport and make it a success.

I'm back!! First episode of the new season but 5th ever episode. back after an extended break. talking about whether saints are having a huge downfall or if it's really just a little blip. Continuing to discuss the good the bad and the ugly in rugby league along with detailing my plans for the podcast as the season goes on.

Well a wide range of topics covered in todays episodes. we get an Australian perspective on the World Cup Final. An Englishman rant on the Wigan RL club killing Englands WC Semi-final. We also discuss, after a slight detour, the bottom 4 of 2023 NRL season, the dire need of an international calendar for RL, the growth of RL in other cultures within Australia, England and beyond.

Slight discussion too on what us St Helens fans can expect at the Bluebell stadium in Penrith for the WCC.

A great episode and discussions.

A 2 and a half hour pod talking about the next major games in the World Cup. covering the tournament so far and the state of the international and domestic comps game far and wide!! fans of backwards English clubs may not appreciate this one, but it's a good listen with both positives and negatives. A platform for the future of RL.

Joined with the inglorious League Freak for this one. Penrith Panthers fanatic and RL podcast royalty.

We just want a better game. Is that too much to ask...

p.s. mic issues will hopefully be resolved soon...

The ramblings start. The Wold Cup, the greatest tournament, well it should be anyway. I discuss the current on-field and off-field positives and negatives of this tournament and the future of the international game. Time for rugby league fans around the world to speak out and demand a better international comp and community.
