The Rundown

Debuting the new show with a new name! Join Justin Tavner and I every week for all your sports topics--from the NFL, to the NBA, and all the hot stories in between. Justin and I have enjoyed talking sports together for a long time now, and we wanted to bring this project to life during what's sure to be a fun NFL season. Thank you to all of my Fleet Geek Podcast supporters over the last year--you all have inspired me to really put effort into my passion projects, and it has led to this. I hope you all enjoy!

This is NFL week 1 of the 2023 season! Lots of stories from the Titans and Bengals lackluster season openers, to Aaron Rodgers achilles tear, and much more! Hope you all enjoy! Be sure to subscribe to listen to future episodes!

Hello Fleet Geeks, and welcome to the newest addition to the Fleet Geek Podcast! This is a new segment I like to call Tailgating with Tavner, a series where my friend Justin and I discuss the latest and greatest sports topics, and then Justin gives his legendary NFL Weekly Power Rankings.

This episode was a lot of fun to record, and I really hope you enjoy!

Welcome to FGP episode 6! What a jam-packed episode! We cover some personal updates, shoutout to Zach! We then get into the good stuff: LeBron stands alone atop the NBA all time scoring list, NBA Trade Deadline was CRAZY, and the Super Bowl 57 truths and what the league looks like in the aftermath. All that in a 33 minute podcast episode! Hope you all enjoy!

What's up guys? Welcome to episode 5 of the Fleet Geek Podcast! In today's episode, I share some life updates before we take a deep dive into my sports takes after the past week of news and results happened. What a week it's been: Tom Brady Retired, the Bengals and Chiefs played a controversial AFC Championship game, the Titans hired a new GM (a couple weeks ago), and LeBron is within 70 points of breaking the unbreakable scoring record set by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1984.

Naturally, everyone has an opinion about this stuff, including me, and so if you're here, it means you're listening to mine! I share my thoughts on everything that's happened and where things go from here. I also take a stab at the LeBron vs. Jordan debate, and what I believe some good moves for the Titans might be in the 2023 offseason as we lick our wounds following a less than stellar 2022 campaign.

I hope you all enjoy, and thanks for stopping by!
