Holmes built the film after being wrongfully accused and cut off from his son. DEADBEAT follows fathers fighting to stay in their children’s lives against false claims, meritless restraining orders, child-support traps, and a system critics say runs on a fatherless agenda. The film runs just over two hours and has picked up five festival awards, including Best Documentary Feature at the Robinson Film Awards.
We get into the cases the documentary puts on the table, including the 50 Cent and Daphne Joy custody fight, Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie, the Courtney Clenney case in Florida, and what happens when courts ignore warning signs. Holmes also walks through the commentary the film uses from Judge Judy, Vivek Ramaswamy, and others on fatherhood, restraining orders, and the incentives baked into family court.

On Wednesday, Flydubai flight FZ1073 left Dubai for Tel Aviv with about 174 people on board, most of them Israeli families. Two hours in, the Omani first officer attacked Captain Smit Machchhar in the cockpit and the Boeing 737 dropped roughly 14,000 to 17,000 feet in under two minutes. A hijack signal went out. Israeli fighters scrambled. The wounded captain still got the cockpit door open. Passengers, including Israeli plumber Yaniv Hayun, stormed in, subdued the attacker, and relief pilots landed the plane in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Everyone lived.
Benjamin Netanyahu says the co-pilot underwent Islamist radical indoctrination, was suicidal, and very likely meant to down the plane. He has called it a prevented 9/11. No group has claimed it. An Iran link is not confirmed. The weapon is still unknown. Oman has no relations with Israel, and Netanyahu says this flight exposed a vetting loophole. The UAE is investigating whether it was terror, planning, or direction. Flydubai has suspended flights to Israel.
Days before the October 7 anniversary, the threat did not come through the cabin door. It came with a pilot’s license. Tonight we walk the facts, the heroes, the open questions, and what this says about aviation security after the Abraham Accords.

Two years later, Cornell has a new story.
October 2024: a drunk night at Chi Phi, ketamine, a vile Snapchat, and a signed police statement. The DA said her own words described the drugs and the sex as voluntary, conscious, and consensual. She said no to a foursome. They stopped. She later texted that none of the sexual stuff was illegal.
September 2026: same night, new lawsuit. Now it’s a gang rape. The campus paper prints the seven names. The internet prints their faces. She stays Jane Doe.
You cannot revoke consent two years later and call it sexual assault.

Lindsay Clancy was back in court today for the first time since her murder trial ended in a hung jury.
Her lawyer Kevin Reddington spent the summer trial not disputing that she killed her three children. He argued she was not criminally responsible because of postpartum psychosis.
Today he changed the argument.
Reddington asked the judge for a directed verdict of not guilty and said there is a “complete lack of evidence” that she killed them. Quote: “This entire case is based on speculation.” “Where is the evidence that she did this?” He also said she “had no memory” of what happened.
The prosecutor called it “laughable.”
Judge William Sullivan took the motion under advisement. No ruling. Next hearing is November 2. The DA still has not said whether he will retry the case. Reddington told the court he cannot try it before June 2027.
Three children are dead. The defense just moved the goalposts.

Five British men in balaclavas. Three vans. A farmer’s headlights in Gloucestershire. By dawn, 85 homes are emptied and bomb robots are crawling over vehicles two miles from RAF Fairford — the base where U.S. B-1 bombers fly missions against Iran.
By Monday afternoon, all five are on bail.
Tonight on The Ryan Samuels Show: the Fairford plot, Britain’s unsecured Channel, and the Sharia shadow system London pretends isn’t there.
Sunday’s arrests were for explosives offences and preparing a terrorist act. The suspects are UK nationals, 23 to 25, all from London. Counter-terror police say the investigation is not over and they are “keeping an open mind” about proxies working for a foreign state. Iran’s embassy denies it. President Trump’s verdict: he would not have released them.
That is not a one-off. It is the posture of a country that still will not ban the IRGC, still will not proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood, and still treats the English Channel like a suggestion.
The numbers: about 19,135 small-boat arrivals so far in 2026 — down from last year’s flood, still a highway. Seven hundred eighty-one in a single day last week. Two boats hit Kent beaches without being intercepted. This morning a dinghy with 105 people went down off France. A 10-year-old child and two women are dead.
And in the same cities those suspects came from, 30 to 85 unregulated Sharia councils operate as a parallel family system. They have no formal legal force. They have plenty of practical force — especially over women in nikah-only marriages the British state never made them register. One law for all is either the rule or it is a slogan.
This is not Britain’s problem alone. It is the warning. Open the border, tolerate a second legal culture, and you will eventually meet the vans at the fence.

A Mississippi grand jury declined to charge anyone in the death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells. He went on a Fourth of July boat trip with friends and did not come back. After hearing from 43 witnesses and reviewing phones, GPS, video, and two autopsies, the panel said the circumstances were consistent with drowning. No criminal conduct. No racial motive.
That is not the story a lot of coverage sold in July. Too many voices treated the racial makeup of the group as the first fact and the evidence as optional.
