The Ryan Show

Kristy joins the boys for a second week in a row, this time in Hamptons Dave's Cave. The crew discusses an array of topics including modern day baseball, 3 day benders, Dave's new job and Ryans ever-so-nearing fatherhood. Tragedy Khadafi joined us for Part 2 to help us interview Supa Emcee about his legendary battle rap career. Check out his new collaboration with producer Baby Paul "XrossRoads" available now on all platforms.

Hamptons Dave's love of villains is called into question early on this weeks episode of The Ryan Show FM live from Cooler Ruler Divine's Studios. Stand up comedian Kristy Vera joined us on mic to talk about her start in comedy, origins of working for the United Nations and what it was like growing up in the south. In part 2 the crew is joined by  english rapper Minx about her music and current trip to NYC.

This episode was filmed live and direct from the LB Family fortress aka Mr. Cheeks house in Queens. The boys discuss the underground marijuana clubs of NYC and how they have become more frequent throughout 2019. We also take a look back on the stand up comedy portion from the live TRS broadcast in Brooklyn the week prior. This weeks comedy was headlined by TRS regular Nick Tilleli. In part 2 of this episode Ryan & Cheeks got a very special call in from "The International Madame" aka Nives Gadoni. Ms. Gadoni ran one of the most notorious international sex rings on this side of the globe before the feds finally took her down. She explains what led her to live the dangerous life of the NYC Madame and how she runs the same business (legally) in Switzerland. We also learn more about the sex industry including some of the most extreme fetishes that Nives has encountered on her journey. Be sure to check out her book and documentary available now online. Music by DJ Rezn8.

Keith Murray has performed at a few of our live events but this night marked our first time having him on FM radio. Mr. Murray might be one of the most underrated emcees of the 90's due to his nonconformist attitude and style. We get into his origins and what his life was like before being discovered by Erick Sermon. We also get a never before told story on the creation of Keith's popular single "The Most Beautifulest Thing In This World". Part 2 consists of a sports segment with our friend Sam Garnes and the rest of Ryan's sit down with Keith Murray. They wrap up the show discussing the potential creation of a second Def Squad Album.

The Ryan Show FM has developed a reputation for bringing on controversial guests. None have been more outspoken than the self proclaimed (and for good reason) King of the Underworld LSD. El joins us for part 1 of this weeks show to discuss his experience being a part of Dave Chapelle's crew and what it was like to be a part of his benefit for Dayton, OH. Part 2 of the show takes place back at Def Squad Studios where ex NFL coach / safety Sam Garnes joined us to discuss his work with the children  I.E. The Sam Garnes Foundation. They then reminisce about a time when violence was accepted and encouraged in the NFL.

Ryan and Mr. Cheeks started off this weeks show venting on their frustrations dealing with the primadonna homeless population of NYC. They are then joined by Golden Era emcee Grandaddy IU to discuss his latest project. They learn more about the creation of the legendary Big L track "Da Graveyard" which featured Grandaddy IU, Jay-Z and more. In part 2 of this episode up and coming Long Island sensation Tonee Marino joined us down at Def Squad Studios on his way to visit Rockwilder. Music spun by DJ K Bliss.

The Best of The Ryan Show FM Part 3 consists of our 2018 interviews with Houston emcee Young Lyric, celebrity masseuse Valencia Woods, and social media prankster Prince Zee. Music by DJ K Bliss.

Legendary Queensbridge emcee Tragedy Khadafi joined us as a guest co-host  on this episode of The Ryan Show FM. Brooklyn's own Manolo Rose joined us to promote his all new EP "Season One" and speak on his experience in the music industry. Ryan shared that his single "I Get Money" was his unofficial anthem for the summer of 2018. Staten Island stand out Pop Da Brown Hornet is back on the scene after a long break from the music business. Pop explains to Tragedy and the boys why he feels slighted by the Wu-Tang clan and hip hop politics.

Cheeks and Ryan are gearing up for their big Horror Movie Party in Brooklyn. The boys discuss how difficult it is to get actors from cult classics to make room for appearances or interviews without cold hard cash ready to spend. They then flashback to earlier in the week where Hamptons Dave and Nick Tilleli joined us in studio to interview the creator of college frat anthem “Jordan Belfort”, Famous Dyl. As the show comes to an end Ryan and Cheeks get into a heated debate between which version of The Wizard of Oz is better, the original or The Wiz.

Ryan and Mr. Cheeks start off discussing the sad state of New York Sports and what they would do to change baseball. Battle Rapper Bonnie Godiva joined the boys for her first interview since the live broadcast at Tavern Lounge. The team remembers rapper and humanitarian Hollywood Play and his tragic demise. A.F.R.O. came back for the second week in a row and filled us in on life in NYC vs LA. Sean the White Rapper from The Howard Stern Show accompanied Fro to the studio as his acting manager.
