Initially invented to solve his own problem, Austin tinkered with the system in his BMW to make it possible to come home late at night, or not be targetted in residential neighborhoods.

Julian Palermo is a financial advisor, driver, and fitness enthusiast. Julian caught the car bug early on. Today on the show we have my man Luke Miller. Luke is a filmmaker, producer, and director from South Jersey. He's the co-host of the Freelance Network Podcast and Chatting Cinema. He's been featured, worked on, created, and co-created countless short films, music videos, and media.
Luke and I met through a fellow guest and great friend, Joe Gibbs. He introduced us while at Stockton University where Luke manned the controls in the podcast room, also known as the closet. Luke graciously had me on the Freelance Network Podcast, which he co-hosted until he graduated. From there we became fast friends.
It's one thing to have a friend pursuing a career in video while you're pursuing a career in audio, but it's something completely different to see them grow over the course of 2 years. When we met we were still in college trying to figure it out. We haven't stopped trying to figure it out, we just happened to carve our paths much deeper since the last time we spoke. Luke works for Oak Leaf Media, a New Jersey-based production company while writing a movie on his own, and shooting freelance films and music videos. Our conversation today encompasses these topics, as well as the small role he had in putting together one of the biggest music videos of the year.

Tyler Braddock is the founder and owner of The Vault in Boonton, NJ. The Vault is a music studio dedicated to mixing, mastering, tracking, and recording artists of all genres. Tyler's work ethic and mindset are unstoppable, and he continues to be a mentor for me in my life and my music.
On a whim, I applied for an unpaid internship at The Vault in the summer of 2019. I didn't have a job and I was paying my rent from savings, but I knew I wanted to be around producers and musicians. I drove 45 minutes each way to get to the studio each day, but it didn't matter. The experience I gained was invaluable and as Tyler did his job, he patiently responded to my countless questions about producing, mixing, and mastering music.
This is the second on-location podcast for us, and I can't thank Tyler enough for letting us come to the studio to record this.
