  • DEVELOPING NEWS: A fully involved commercial fire is burning at the former Bank of America building in the 1800 block of Del Paso Boulevard.
  • The building is fully engulfed, with multiple fire crews on scene.
  • Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area of Del Paso Boulevard while crews work to contain the fire.
  • No injuries have been reported at this time. This remains an active and developing incident.

  • Police are investigating a shooting in the 20 block of Silver Eagle Road around 4:04 a.m.
  • Officers found evidence of gunfire but no victim at the scene.
  • A short time later, a person possibly connected to the incident arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
  • An investigation is underway and a report has been filed.
  • A police pursuit ended with an arrest near 3rd Street and P Street around 3:35 p.m.
  • Officers attempted a traffic stop when the driver fled, leading to a brief pursuit.
  • The vehicle was later located and the suspect was taken into custody on related charges.
