Sacramento police arrested three suspects in South Sacramento, seizing nearly six pounds of methamphetamine, multiple firearms, and almost $9,500 in cash.
The January 14 operation was led by South Problem Oriented Policing officers with assistance from the Department of Justice, SPD Investigations, and SWAT. Search warrants were served at two locations, along with a traffic stop tied to the case.

The City of Sacramento is seeking proposals to guide future development of a 102-acre City-owned site in Meadowview. A new Request for Expressions of Interest invites ideas for housing, jobs, and community-serving spaces. Councilmember Mai Vang says the goal is development rooted in community voice and long-term prosperity. Proposals are due February 27.
