  • Sacramento County Coroner seeking help identifying a woman who died Jan. 25 at Sutter Medical Center. She told staff she couldn’t provide her name and may have a medical condition known to family.   • A multi-agency investigation has dismantled a Northern California meth operation tied to Valley Springs, Turlock, and Modesto. Authorities seized more than 2,700 pounds of suspected meth, along with firearms and marijuana plants. Eight suspects were arrested.
  • Sacramento County deputies arrested 23-year-old Mohammad Sadam Nahimi after an armed theft at a convenience store on Marconi Avenue. Deputies say he pointed a handgun at an employee and fired a shot at a passing vehicle before being detained. He later posted $125,000 bail.
