Sacramento County’s Operation Street Sweeper delivered major results: 32 search warrants, more than 140 arrests, 86 seized firearms, and over half a million dollars in illicit cash — plus three clandestine drug labs shut down as investigators targeted gang-related violence across the region.

In an unrelated arrest, officers conducting a bike-enforcement stop near Folsom Boulevard and Jackson Road say a suspect tried to run just after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. The individual was caught and found with an illegally possessed firearm.
